Who Cares About My Content?

Many companies struggle with one social media question: does my audience really care?

The answer is almost always yes

I've run successful social media campaigns for tire companies, automotive parts companies, high-end furniture companies, emergency preparedness companies and the list goes on.

And connecting with each of their audiences provided a unique challenge but it could be done.

Take for instance the automotive parts company. They made one part, which always looked pretty much the same so how do you make that interesting and engaging?

Think about your audience. You're probably closely connected to them, maybe you're even part of your audience. We applied this thinking and the answer became clear - talk about racing.

This switch from product only to an engaging topic drove their social media to take off.

The keys to crafting a social media presence  your audience care about is:

1. Know your audience

2. Engage - don't just sell

3. Find common ground

4. Give them something to talk about

If you can follow these 4 keys, you'll be able to develop a social media presence that your audience is excited to engage with and this will help drive website traffic, sales, conversions and loyalty.
